We have an opportunity for anyone interested in DJ'ing to train with Wildstar Roadshows - No previous experience necessary.

All the Equipment required to run an extra show is available, but due to other commitments we are frequently turning gigs down.

If you have an interest in Music and Entertaining, and often look at DJ's and think "I could do better than that!" then please get in touch.

It would most likely take a few months to learn the ropes, depending on how much time and effort you put in.

Firstly, acting as a roadie you will learn how to set up a disco, and how to dismantle it again at the end of the night! You will also see how it's all done from a DJ's perspective.

After you've had the opportunity to watch & learn you can have the use of a mixer to practice your technique and hone your skills at home. Very soon you will be mixing tracks at events whilst an experienced DJ helps you along.

Next we will get you using a microphone properly so that people can actually understand you, then we'll help you plan the whole night from start to finish. Its not just about playing a good selection of music you will need to order the tracks in such a way that you can build an atmosphere and keep it going all night long.

You also need to consider ALL the guests, not just the ones who keep pestering for obscure tracks that nobody else will dance to.

15 Years experience in all the best venues teaches you a thing or two about how to "manage" an evening and you will benefit greatly from this experience.

We couldn't let you out alone until your confident enough to provide a reliable service but if your keen that wouldn't take as long as you might think.

Ideally, you will have a fairly substantial music collection already, but in this the digital age we can easily get you your own comprehensive selection of tracks (100% legally!)

Also you will need to live within our operating area, reasonably close to our base in New Inn, Pontypool. Neither age nor sex would be a restriction. As long as you can create the right impression when representing Wildstar Roadshows, we will train you!
